Become a Member of the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Services Board
The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service Board is composed of five members:
- The head of the municipal council, or if the head chooses not to be a member of the Board, another member of Council appointed by resolution of the Council;
- One member of the Council appointed by resolution of the Council;
- One person appointed by resolution of the Council, who is neither a member of the Council nor an employee of the Municipality (term of council); and
- Two persons appointed by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council (three-year term)
Persons who are not eligible to become members of the Police Service Board:
- A judge
- A justice of the peace
- A police officer
- A person who practices criminal law as a defence counsel
